Cost Accounting Analyst

JOB SUMMARY:

The Cost Accounting Analyst is responsible for analyzing, monitoring, and reporting the cost of book production following the Alagang Mahalaga way of life and by doing so, to ensure uninterrupted operations of the all companies. The role provides management with accurate cost information to support cost control, reduction initiatives, and informed decision-making.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Review and analyze inventory movements (raw materials and finished goods) in the system, ensuring accuracy and performing necessary item adjustments.
2. Coordinate with responsible departments on the posting of consumption journals to accurately reflect assigned or actual material costs in book production.
3. Collaborate with internal auditors to validate the accuracy of location codes used in receiving and dispatching inventories.
