Cost Accounting Manager

The Cost Accounting Manager is accountable for leading the financial management activities at the Plant level. This position reports to the Cost Controller and works closely with the Production, Quality Assurance, Health and Safety, Maintenance, Shipping and Logistics, Human Resources, and Field Departments, as well as employees across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Leadership and performance management of direct reports.
• Ensure adherence to GAAP and maintain plant‑wide internal control.
• Collaborate with the Controller on preparing and presenting the site’s annual budget.
• Assist the Controller in reporting weekly and monthly forecasts for the site.
• Develop new product costing methods.
• Provide insights to the leadership team on plant spending management.
• Identify opportunities and risks to help drive plant performance.
