• Responsible for developing and maintaining the cost accounting system, documents and records of the organization.
• Play a key role in analyzing and recommending costs and cost savings, as well as assessing the impact of changes in goods or services on the overall cost.
• Estimating new and proposed product costs, and providing management with reports that specify and compare factors affecting prices and profitability of products or services.
• Assist in IT and Commissary Cost Accounting concerns and produce and maintain monthly cost reports for use by executives.
• Responsible for advising executives and upper management on appropriate costing based on financial data.
