Job Summary:

Cost Analyst, collect and analyze a company's expenses to find savings, improve efficiency, and support financial decisions by tracking costs, creating budgets, auditing transactions, and reporting findings to management, often focusing on production, projects, or operations to identify waste and boost profitability. They work with accounting/finance teams, use data to forecast, and recommend changes to processes or procurement to align spending with financial goals.
