Job Description
Review and validate cost-related data as it is collected.
Adhere to cost accounting policies & procedures.
Generate high-quality information to support informed decision-making at the strategic level.
Identify cost trends (Efficiencies & inefficiencies) and report key findings to senior management
Oversee the deployment of cost-related data to perform cost analysis
Planning, studying, and collecting data to determine costs of business activity.
Recording cost information for use in controlling expenditures
Making estimates of new and proposed product costs
Performs variance analysis between actual and standard costs to assist management in decision making or other financial initiatives
Providing management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of products or services.
