cost analyst

JOB OBJECTIVES:

Responsible for gathering, monitoring, and analyzing production or sales costs to support accurate financial reporting and cost control.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordinate with Operations to collect production data for periodic financial reports
• Prepare and analyze production/sales cost reports by profit and cost center
• Compute material, labor, and overhead costs
• Prepare cost-related journal entries and ensure proper reconciliation with accounting records
• Conduct cost variance analysis against budget and historical data
• Allocate and distribute costs to appropriate profit and cost centers
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or related course
Experience: Open to fresh graduates
