Cost Control Engineer

Job Summary:

Monitoring and analyzing cost expenditures to ensure the organization is operating efficiently and within budget.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Checks cost to complete (Detailed and revised computed cost to complete required as early as possible, to be updated monthly thereafter.
2. Checks all variances on Direct Cost (savings and overruns).
3. Evaluates and reviews all data entry in ORACLE.
4. Checks and records all project payables.
5. Gathers and verifies actual costs and reconciles with the accounting costs.
6. Initiates project cost review with PMT.
7. Prepares / Checks Cost Evaluation Reports.
8. Accountable for accurate analysis on variance and costs reports.
9. Reviews and sets priorities in allocation of project funds for PM's guidance.
10. Evaluates, checks and verifies billings and payables prior to release of payment.
