Job Description

The Associate Counsel operates within broad guidelines established by the Senior Vice President & General Counsel, and the Vice President & Deputy General Counsel; the incumbent is responsible for providing legal expertise and assistance to the organization.
What You Will Do:
Participates in the development and interpretation of ABS policies.
May provide direction and instruction to support staff, review their progress and make recommendations concerning the evaluation of their work. 
At the direction of the Senior Vice President & General Counsel, the Vice President & Deputy General Counsel, and the Associate General Counsel, conducts legal projects and research
Provides counsel and advice on a variety of legal matters, including employment and labor, intellectual property, data privacy, insurance, litigation, and bankruptcy matters.
Drafts, reviews, and negotiates contracts and other legal documents.
