Job Description
Provide essential family support as a Counsellor committed to mental well-being. Implement in-home support, crisis intervention, and parent training to empower families in their communities.
Under the Program Manager’s guidance, this role focuses on delivering high-quality support to families in need. You will evaluate family needs, advocate for resources, and cultivate a supportive environment for parents and children. Regular engagement in team meetings and case reviews ensures effective service delivery and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Complete assessments and define support goals
• Support families in developing resource networks
• Offer training for parents and individual counselling
• Intervene in crises to ensure family safety
• Participate in clinical rounds and team discussions
