Job Description
Become an essential part of summer camp as a Counsellor focused on special needs. Provide individualized support and connect with campers in a vibrant, engaging environment.
This full-time, seasonal role is dedicated to helping youth with exceptionalities experience camp life fully. You will ensure personalized care through check-ins, active participation in activities, and a spirit of encouragement. Flexibility and teamwork will be vital as the role may include other camp responsibilities in addition to supporting campers.
Key Responsibilities: • Offer one-on-one care and support to guests • Actively participate in at least 6-8 hours of daily activities • Monitor guest safety during programming • Lead engaging activities for small and large groups • Conduct clear and effective communication with peers and guests
