Job Summary
Counter Staff are responsible for assisting customers at the service or sales counter. They handle customer inquiries, process orders and payments, and ensure a positive customer experience while maintaining cleanliness and organization at the counter area.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
Take orders accurately and process billing/payment (cash, card, digital payments)
Provide product or service information to customers
Handle customer complaints or escalate issues when necessary
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter area
Manage cash register and ensure accurate cash handling
Issue receipts, refunds, or exchanges as per company policy
Coordinate with kitchen/store/warehouse staff for order fulfillment
Maintain stock levels at the counter (if applicable)
