The Kenya Climate Change Working Group (KCCWG) is a national civil society platform established in 2009 to advance effective, just, and inclusive climate governance in Kenya. We convene civil society, research institutions, government actors, and development partners to influence policy, strengthen accountability, and ensure climate action responds to the lived realities of vulnerable communities.
Our work sits at the intersection of evidence, policy, and practice, with a strong emphasis on climate justice, gender equality, and inclusive decision-making.
About the GenCGov Project
KCCWG is a partner in a UKRI-funded Future Leaders Fellowship hosted at the University of Bradford.
