Job Description
Under the direction of the Supervisor, the Chemical Manufacturing Operator, sets up and operates departmental equipment to perform bulk material processing for the department Product line. Operators will also be introduced to standard chemical preparations and perform reactions in drying/kiln type furnace operations according to production orders.
You will have the opportunity to:
+ Performs all operational steps for powdered starting material, including blending, milling, concentrating off Isopropyl alcohol (IPA), vacuum drying and calcination.
+ Completes blend calculations.
+ Sets up and runs mills and monitors process.
+ Performs Particle Size Distribution analysis on milled material.
+ Read SOP’s & Work Instructions
+ Prepare reaction vessels for the next run by rinsing, disassembling, ultrason...
