CPA/Potential Partner

Cross & Company, Chartered Professional Accountants, is seeking a professional accountant with experience in public practice who is looking to eventually transition to part owner alongside other CPA’s, and grow the firm throughout Vancouver Island.

Strong business acumen and ability to understand and review business reports and transactions

Critical thinking, attention to detail with ability to identify issues and provide solutions

Enthusiastic and self‑motivated, inherent drive to see results and meet deadlines

Strong interpersonal skills with both clients and team members

Work strongly within a team environment and provide guidance to CPA students

Requirements:

CPA designation

2+ years of recent public practice experience as a designated accountant

Experience using Caseware, Sage 50, and QuickBooks. Experience with Jazzit, TaxPrep and CCH iFirm is an asset.
