Crane Operator

OSM Thome is looking for an experienced Crane Operator (CRO) to work onboard an offshore accommodation vessel/flotel in Brazil. You will handle lifting operations safely and efficiently, supporting marine and offshore activities.

• Key responsibilities:
• Operate offshore cranes for cargo, equipment and stores handling
• Plan and execute lifting operations in line with procedures and lift plans
• Work closely with deck crew, bridge and offshore teams during operations
• Carry out daily crane checks, basic maintenance and report any defects
• Ensure all lifting gear is used correctly and safely

• Follow company safety standards and permit to work systems

• Requirements:

• Proven experience as Offshore Crane Operator (CRO) on similar vessels
• Valid offshore crane operator certificate
• Valid STCW certificates and offshore survival (BOSIET/FOET or equivalent)
