Credit controller

SUMMARY:
We are recruiting for a Credit Controller (3 monthsFixed term contract)
Candidates from the retail industry will be given first preference. The Credit Controller is responsible for following up on outstanding invoices and claims deducted for
the company and plays a vital role in the cash-flow of the organisation; ensuring credit given to
customers is monitored and controlled effectively. POSITION INFO:
Duties include:

• Following up on outstanding debt telephonically and by email to in order to reduce debtor days
• Allocating payments in accordance with customer remittances
• Liaising with the sales to resolve outstanding queries
• Daily and month -end reporting and account reconciliations both balance brought forward and open item
• Investigating and resolving queries relating to non-payment of invoices
• Working to strict monthly and annually collections targets
