What This Role Involves CCS is seeking a Credit Counsellor to work on a hybrid basis in Halifax. As a Credit Counsellor, you will provide compassionate guidance to clients navigating financial challenges to help them manage debt, overcome barriers, and achieve their financial goals.

Responsibilities

Assess clients’ financial situations, helping them gain a clear understanding of their income, expenses, and debt obligations.

Provide personalized options and strategies to help clients effectively manage and resolve their debts.

Offer ongoing support through a Debt Management Program, enabling clients to pay off their debts with interest relief.

Serve as a trusted resource, answering questions and following up to ensure clients stay on track toward financial stability.

Qualifications
