Credit Risk Specialist - Mortgage Special Assets

Overview

The MSA Team works closely with MLI’s Real Estate Finance Group across the United States and Canada to review, approve, and manage below‑investment‑grade (BIG) loans and problem exposures within the GA portfolio. It also collaborates with MBC’s Specialized Lending and Credit Risk Management teams on MBC commercial mortgage loans, including annual reviews and emerging credit issues. The Credit Risk Specialist analyses and monitors credit risk associated with BIG and problem loans, assesses new investment opportunities for MBC, and maintains accurate credit records to support resolution discussions and presentations to Senior Management.
