Overview:

The Team Lead, Consumer Credit Underwriting is a senior, hands-on leadership role, responsible for guiding a team of experienced underwriters to consistently achieve performance, quality, and compliance targets.

In addition to leading, mentoring, and coaching a team of capable and committed underwriters, the Team Lead will personally assess complex or escalated applications and provide approval for files that fall outside standard Delegated Lending Authority (DLA).

The role plays a critical part in ensuring responsible lending outcomes, maintaining regulatory compliance, and developing individual and team capability within a structured, policy-driven consumer finance environment.
