RAFI Microfinance, Inc. (RAFI MFI) is a program under the Economic Well-Being Cluster of the Ramon Aboitiz Foundation Inc. (RAFI). RAFI MFI is a social development organization that empowers micro-entrepreneurs in their business journey by providing relevant solutions & supporting services that enable them to take holistic ownership of their livelihood & achieve a dignified life.
Founded on December 10, 1998, RAFI MFI was formerly known as Cebu Micro Enterprise Development Foundation Inc. (CMEDFI), originally designed for women Micro, Small & Medium Entrepreneurs (MSMEs) to become financially stable & independent.
Operations began with the opening of its 1st branch in Naga, Cebu in 1999. By 2022, RAFI MFI expands its reach to 323 branches in 25 provinces - touching more than 3 million lives of their clients & families in underserved & vulnerable communities.
