Crewing Assistant Manager

Job Description
The Crewing Assistant Manager ensures vessels are manned with competent, certified, and medically fit seafarers in line with company standards, ISM Code, client requirements, and charter party obligations. The role oversees end‑to‑end crewing operations (planning, recruitment, onboarding, rotations, payroll, and welfare), supports compliance and audits, and contributes to talent development, cost control, and digital process efficiency across the fleet.
Responsibilities
Assist in planning and executing crew change schedules in coordination with Vessel Managers and shipboard teams.
Maintain updated crew matrices and ensure timely deployment and repatriation of crew.
Monitor crew performance, appraisals, and training needs.
Oversee daily administration and management of SMARTPAL software, ensuring accurate and up-to-date crew data.
Manage SMARTPAL workflows for crew planning, rotations, document validity, contract issuance, and compliance tracking.<...
