Job Description
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end crewing operations for assigned vessels, ensuring safe manning and compliance at all times.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute crew change schedules in line with vessel operations, budgets, and voyage plans.
- Ensure full compliance with MLC 2006, STCW, flag state, and company policies.
- Oversee recruitment, selection, and deployment of seafarers, including interviews, assessments, and approvals.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date crew records, certifications, medicals, and contract documentation.
- Manage crew performance, welfare, discipline, and grievance matters in a timely and professional manner.
- Coordinate training, competency development, and career progression plans for officers and ratings.
- Control crewing budgets, manning costs, and agency fees; monitor cost efficiency and reporting.
