Crewing Manager

Responsibilities Manage end-to-end crewing operations for assigned vessels, ensuring safe manning and compliance at all times. Plan, coordinate, and execute crew change schedules in line with vessel operations, budgets, and voyage plans. Ensure full compliance with MLC 2006, STCW, flag state, and company policies. Oversee recruitment, selection, and deployment of seafarers, including interviews, assessments, and approvals. Maintain accurate and up-to-date crew records, certifications, medicals, and contract documentation. Manage crew performance, welfare, discipline, and grievance matters in a timely and professional manner. Coordinate training, competency development, and career progression plans for officers and ratings. Control crewing budgets, manning costs, and agency fees; monitor cost efficiency and reporting.
