Crewing Officer

Primary Function:

Responsible for the optimal deployment of seafarers in accordance with the standards set by the National Government, International Treaties governing Immigration, Flag State Authority, Principal Requirements, and Company Policies, and maintaining mutual and consistent communication protocol with external parties such as Principal and Vessels' Masters and seafarers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Communicates with the Principals, Vessel's Master, and relevant personnel regarding seafarer's sea-based employment process, i.e., from candidate proposal to deployment, including endorsement of seafarers for resource pool.

2. Coordinate vessel crew change operations and all seafarers' embarkation and disembarkation tasks.

3. Identifies vacancies in the rotation/relief plan and coordinates with the immediate head for sourcing.
