CRL/Supervisor - Respiratory Therapy

OVERVIEW

The Clinical Resource Leader/Supervisor, Respiratory Therapy reports to the Director, Critical Care and Cardiology and is responsible for the professional practice and supervisory functions of the Respiratory Therapy Department. Working in close partnership with the Manager, the Supervisor supports the delivery of safe, high quality, consistent, and patient -centered respiratory therapy services across the organization.

The Clinical Resource Leader/Supervisor provides leadership for respiratory therapy practice, staff performance, education, and day-to-day operational support. This includes developing and maintaining practice standards, supporting staff to work to full scope, ensuring appropriate staffing and resource allocation, fostering strong interprofessional relationships, and contributing to quality improvement and service excellence.
