Cryptography Subject Matter Expert

Job Overview We are seeking a

Cryptographer

for a 6‑month (extendable) remote contract position starting in January (or February if necessary).

This position is to help design, shape, and implement a new Crypto program which includes PKI (Public Key Infrastructure), HSM (Hardware Security Module), post‑quantum cryptography, and more. You will act as the go‑to person for encryption, key management (PKI, HSMs), algorithms (RSA, ECC), and standards (FIPS, NIST) to protect data, collaborating with engineers, architects, and product teams to ensure secure, compliant, and usable security features across systems. You will analyze threats, test security, manage crypto lifecycles, and guide the adoption of new technologies like Post‑Quantum Cryptography (PQC).
