Key Duties & Responsibilities A. Operational Functions: • Coordinating the schedule of a shipping company or a group of drivers.• Ensuring that data related to deliveries and shipments of freight are entered timely into tracking software.• Managing customer service satisfaction by providing updates on ETA and location of drivers.• Obtaining back-haul freight and dispatching OTR drivers.• Directing inbound and outbound logistics operations, such as transportation and warehouse activities, safety performance, and logistics quality management.• Negotiating and arranging transport of goods with shipping or freight companies.• Determining method of shipment and preparing bills of lading, invoices, and other shipping documents.• Tracking deliver...
