CTS Machinist

Adept Resourcing are recruiting on behalf of a long-established, high integrity manufacturing client for a Machinist to join their CTS (Central Testing Services) laboratory team.

This is not production machining and it's not about chasing cycle times.

It's about accuracy, traceability, and doing the job properly.

What the job actually is

You'll be part of a small, skilled lab team preparing metal test samples for mechanical and metallurgical testing.

In simple terms, you will:

• Cut metal samples to plan

• Machine test pieces using manual and CNC lathes, mills and grinders

• Work from drawings and sample instructions

• Measure, inspect and sign off your work

• Maintain full traceability and paperwork

• Hand samples over ready for testing

This is one off and small batch work, not mass production.
