Purpose of the position

Manoir Pointe-aux-Trembles is looking for a passionate cook to join our wonderful team during the holidays! We are looking for a reliable, resourceful person who is available on call and enjoys preparing delicious, heartfelt meals for our residents.

Specifically, your daily life with us will look like:

• Ensure the kitchen and equipment are kept clean according to established hygiene and cleanliness standards
• When appropriate, collaborate with the chef in the creation of the menus by proposing ideas
• Perform other related duties
• Assemble plates of food
• Ensure and optimize quality standards in the use of food
• Supervise the preparation of cold meals and desserts
• Peel and cut vegetables for meals

The ideal person has:

• Ability to work under pressure
