Position Summary

Under the direction and supervision of the School Principal, the Lunchtime Supervisor will monitor students during the lunch break while promoting a safe, caring, positive and friendly environment.

Position Details

• Schedule: E – $24.08 per hour
• Term: 10 months (5 hours per week)
• Start Date: Immediately
• Location: St. John XXIII, Unionville

Major Responsibilities

• Supervise students indoors and outdoors and be aware of their whereabouts; communicate any concerns to the School Principal.
• Monitor student behavior and promote positive interactions, encouraging respect, kindness and inclusivity.
• Report incidents of misconduct to the Principal or designated authority.
• Encourage and support appropriate play, both indoors and outdoors; be vigilant of students attempting to leave the school premises or approach out‑of‑bounds areas.
