Job Description
Support curling and golf operations with exceptional ice maintenance skills. Ensure high standards for playing surfaces while managing events and member registrations.
As an Ice Technician, you will play a key role throughout the year, aligning your efforts with both curling and golf operations. Your focus will be on maintaining ice quality from September to April and supporting golfing activities from May to August. Collaborating with the Head Ice Technician, you will monitor and log critical systems while assisting with various league and junior programs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and install curling ice surfaces
• Keep up daily scraping, pebbling, and cleaning
• Log equipment performance and conditions accurately
• Support event operations, including setup and promotion
• Manage registrations and administrative tasks
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 3 years ice maintenance experience necessary
