Role

As Freight Operations Specialist you will be responsible for providing customer-focused operational support by managing end-to-end freight activities for both import and export shipments. The role ensures accurate documentation, efficient shipment handling, proactive communication, and on-time delivery in line with customer requirements, while maintaining high operational and service standards.

Responsibilities: 
Monitor shipments in transit and proactively keep customers informed of ETAs, or any transit-related issues.

Negotiate freight rates with carriers and service providers, update export and import rate sheets on SharePoint

Send routing instructions and follow up with origin offices, agents, and carriers.

Coordinate closely with the clearance department to ensure timely customs clearance and final delivery.
