Customer Technical Services Engineer

Cleveland-Cliffs Steel has an immediate opportunity for a Customer Technical Services Representative/ Engineer in Northwest Indiana. The Customer Technical Services Representative/Engineer is the primary technical liaison with our customers to resolve claims or quality problems and to ensure that the material supplied meets the customers’ requirements. This position is also responsible for assisting customers with their steel use needs.


Summary of Responsibilities:

+ Assists customers in using Cleveland-Cliffs products

+ Makes service calls on assigned customers to investigate and resolve claims or quality problems. Assures that complaints are handled in a fair, timely manner

+ Coordinates Cleveland-Cliffs actions to respond to steel-related issues with root cause analysis

+ Communicates detailed customer requirements to Cleveland-Cliffs Steel
