Trade compliance specialist is responsible and accountable for implementation of trade compliance regulations and policies globally.
Trade compliance specialist has an authority to approve or hold export/import transactions, and block transactions, that are not in compliance with global or local trade compliance laws, regulations or policies
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Implement and maintain a document retention program regarding trade compliance
- Works and assists management on additional classification and trade compliance audits and projects works
- Provide reports relating to import/export activity to various business units, as required
- Developing, maintaining, and driving standardization of policies, procedures, processes, guidance, and internal controls
- Assist with the ongoing training and instruction to company-wide personnel as regulations and the business evolve
