Customs Clearance Coordinator

The Customs Clearance Coordinator is responsible for understanding and coordinating the requirements for smooth import and export processing that is compliant and in line with the customer's requirements. This individual will also serve as the central communication point between clients, customs & government officials and the shipment's appointed broker.

Job Description:

• Handle pre-shipment documentation, including obtaining regulatory permits, Tax Exemption Indorsements (TEI), Import/Export Permits (IP/EP), and Bureau of Customs Certificates of Registration (BOC COR).
• Classify goods using Harmonized System (HS) Codes and determine applicable duties and taxes.
• Prepare and process documentation for shipping lines, airlines, and regulatory offices such as Bureau of Customs (BOC), Department of Finance (DOF), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), PEZA, and others.
