Customs Declarant

Job description

• Perform accurate documentation, customs clearance, processing and timely release of Import shipments from customs custody

• Represents the company in complying the required shipping documents that need processing and documentation from outside parties

• Receives import documents from Customer Service

• Checks completeness and accuracy of the import documents
• Computes duties and taxes
• Encodes all documents received from the Customer Service in the monitoring sheet
• Send CDT to clients for checking and approval
• Updates Monitoring Sheet daily before leaving the office
• Checks warehouse charges for LCL shipments
• Other tasks that may be assigned at any time

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Customs Administration
• With at least 6 months work experience in a Brokerage/Logistics/Supply Chain industry
