Customs Manager

Alibaba International Digital Commerce Group is seeking a Customs Manager to scale up AliExpress’ customs and compliance program in Europe focused on digital transformation of e-commerce logistics and fully automated customs clearance processes.

Key Responsibilities: • Customs Compliance: Ensure adherence to EU customs regulations for B2C and B2B import activities. • Operational Excellence: Supervise daily customs operation activities including working with internal logistics and compliance teams based in Europe and overseas, customs brokers, customs authorities, 4PL partners, and own Cainiao’s smart sorting centers across Europe to ensure all B2C and B2B shipments meet KPIs, compliance and cost requirements. • Process Optimization: Drive improvements in customs workflows, automation, and risk management • Commercial Focus: Manage supplier contract negotiation process to drive cost reduction while meeting business demands and minimizing risk. • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as t...
