Cyber Security Analyst

About the role

Verinon Technology Solutions Sdn Bhd is seeking a talented Cyber Security Analyst to join our dynamic team in Kuala Lumpur. As a Cyber Security Analyst, you will be managing IT Security solutions and conducting vulnerability assessments and products such as privilege access management, endpoints anti-malware / EDR, SIEM, Hardware Security Module (HSM) and other similar products.

What we're looking for

1. Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
2. 3-5 years of experience in a cybersecurity or information security role
3. Strong understanding of security protocols, standards and frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST)
4. Proficiency in using security tools and technologies (e.g., SIEM, firewalls, IPS/IDS)
5. Ability to analyze and interpret security data to identify and mitigate threats
6. Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking and analytical skills
