Job Description
Become part of UNB’s cybersecurity mission as a Cybersecurity Analyst in Fredericton, NB. This full-time position supports a hybrid work model focusing on advanced security strategies.
Reporting to the Acting Chief Information Officer & Associate Vice-President, you'll leverage your knowledge in security analysis to improve foundational protocols and respond to cyber incidents. Collaborate with various IT functions to continuously evolve and enhance cybersecurity defenses.
Key Responsibilities:
• Establish and update security baselines for anomaly detection
• Enhance incident response strategies and processes
• Monitor compliance with IT security standards
• Analyze events to improve the cybersecurity posture
• Engage in after-hours support as needed
Requirements:
• Degree in Technology or Engineering required
• At least 5 years of security experience
• Senior role exposure of 3 years needed
