Dash 8-400 First Officer – WestJet Encore

What you’ll do

• Operate the Dash 8‑400 safely and efficiently in accordance with company SOPs, regulations, and best practices.
• Deliver warm, professional guest service, representing WestJet Encore’s values on every flight.
• Collaborate closely with your Captain and cabin crew using strong CRM to ensure smooth, on-time operations.
• Support flight planning, performance calculations, weather and NOTAM reviews, and fuel management.
• Demonstrate leadership on the flight deck and during irregular operations, maintaining calm, concise communication.
• Participate in recurrent training and continuous improvement to uphold a Just Culture and safety‑first environment.

Minimum qualifications

• Total Time: 750 hours
• PIC Time: 100 hours
• Exams: Valid IATRA OR valid SAMRA & SARON
• Medical: Class 1
• Language: ICAO ELP Level 4
• Accepted Licences: TCCA
