Data Analysis Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Lead data analysis efforts for both customer and internal teams focused on H-M Matching and HDD optimization
• Isolate and evaluate the impact of Head and Media components on HDD performance
• Identify Key Process Input Variables (KPIVs) and Media Parameters affecting HDD pass rates, error codes, and defect rates
• Develop predictive models for HDD performance during media development using KPIV/Parameter matrices
• Collaborate closely with R&D teams to communicate analysis results and findings
• Support RTV failure analysis (FA) and work with internal teams on root cause identification and corrective actions

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering, Science, or related field; Masters degree is a plus
• Minimum 1 year experience in the HDD industry
• At least 2 years experience in data analysis or similar function
• Strong data analysis and critical thinking skills
