Data and Equipment Technician

We are excited to announce a new entry level position focused on data operations, centred around the efficient ingestion, processing, analysis, and management of ecological survey data. The successful candidate will play a key role in handling data from static bat detectors and infrared and thermal cameras, processing log files, and ensuring data is prepared and delivered to Ecologists for use in technical reporting.

This role is based full time in our Lockington Hall office and forms part of our wider business support team. Outside the ecology season, the role will also support our IT team with further data management activities.

Key Responsibilities

Core Data Operations

• Uploading, ingesting, and organising data from static detectors and cameras.
• Processing and logging incoming data, maintaining consistent data structures and naming conventions.
• Running automated species identification software and validating outputs.
