Data centre design specialist

About the job Data Centre Design Specialist Bachelors degree or diploma in Computer Science or a related field required. Minimum of 5 years experience in the data center design industry with a proven track record of success.

Responsibilities:
Develops data center design models and designs for companies. Develops power analysis, capacity calculation, and storage analysis models. Designs new data center racks, servers, and network layout. Documentation of data center designs, including floor plans, cable diagrams, power diagrams, and building acoustics. Assist with drafting the tender specification and documentation for the client's Data Centre rebuild and refurbishment project. Develop specifications for the rebuilding of two data centers including room design, cooling, fire suppression and detection, electrical reticulation, power, and environmental monitoring.
