Data Centre Engineer

Job Description:

• Oversee the daily operation and maintenance of critical infrastructure, including electrical and mechanical systems.
• Monitor and maintain UPS systems, standby generators, CRAC units, VESDA, and fire suppression systems.
• Perform routine facility inspections and preventive maintenance activities.
• Coordinate and supervise vendors and contractors during servicing, testing, and maintenance works.
• Strictly adhere to approved MOP, SOP, and EOP guidelines to ensure operational compliance and safety.
• Track Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) and implement initiatives to enhance energy efficiency.
• Maintain proper documentation, logs, and records to support ISO 27001:2022 audit requirements.
• Support capacity and space planning to ensure adequate power, cooling, and rack availability for new deployments.
• Ensure the data centre operates in accordance with agreed service level commitments (SLAs).
