Data Engineer – II / III (DataOps)

Role SummaryThe Data Engineer – III plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability, performance, security, and operational excellence of enterprise data platforms and analytics systems. This role acts as the final escalation point for L2 support, partners closely with L3 Data Engineering teams, and drives deep technical troubleshooting, optimization, and governance across cloud data and BI ecosystems. 

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Support 

Create, update, and maintain operational runbooks and manage platform entitlements and access controls. 

Implement configuration changes to batch pipelines and underlying cloud infrastructure. 

Manually control and manage pipeline executions during planned maintenance windows. 

Perform on-demand operational changes based on guidance from the L3 Data Engineering team.
