Data Engineer

Responsible for designing and developing processes that translate data from various sources to destinations and presents findings to appropriate team members, clients, and vendors. Escalate concerns to management, determines best practices and provides suggestions on how to improve current practices. Serves as a member for the ETL group and supports management and other team members.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, and Load) pipelines.
• Communicate insights and recommendations to engineering and product teams
• Actively develop and maintain data pipelines
• Work on ad hoc and urgent requests in a timely manner
• Work with Operations team to understand the Data Update Process and identify items for Automation
• Understand and work on different formats in healthcare data i.e.: HL7, BCDA, CCDA
