Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Data Engineer (Cloudera & NiFi) within a regulated banking environment. The Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining end-to-end data ingestion and transformation pipelines using Apache NiFi, Spark (batch and streaming), Hive, and Impala.
The role involves implementing real-time and batch ingestion patterns using Kafka, APIs, Sqoop, and file-based integrations, while ensuring secure and compliant data handling aligned with banking regulatory standards (e.g., MAS TRM, GDPR, PCI-DSS).
