Data Governance Intern (May - August)

Position: Data Governance Intern

Hourly Rate: $19/h

Responsibilities

• Support the development and maintenance of enterprise data catalogues (metadata capture, definitions, lineage and ownership)
• Work with data stewards and data owners to document data elements, business rules, and data quality considerations
• Prepare presentations, status updates, and supporting materials for the Data Governance Council and related forums
• Support projects to ingest and onboard new data sources by coordinating metadata requirements and documenting source‑to‑target details
• Use SQL and/or Python to assist with metadata profiling, basic analysis, and validation to support cataloging and data quality efforts
• Enjoy learning and contributing to 407 ETR’s data maturity transformation
