Data Governance Lead

Role Overview Join Vanguard as the Data Governance Lead – Americas, where you’ll provide strategic and operational leadership for data governance across Canada. In this role, you’ll define and drive the enterprise data governance vision—establishing standards for data quality, stewardship, lineage, privacy, and compliance—while enabling trusted, AI‑ready data across the organization.

Core Responsibilities

Lead the development and ongoing enhancement of the enterprise data governance framework, aligning with business priorities, regulatory expectations, and risk management practices.

Define and implement data governance policies, standards, and roles (Data Owners, Stewards, Custodians) across business domains.

Establish and facilitate governance forums, including Data Councils and Steward Working Groups.

Translate regulatory and enterprise risk requirements into actionable data governance controls and processes.
