Job Description

About the Job 
We're looking for a Data Privacy Officer to be responsible for monitoring compliance with applicable legislation (Data Privacy Act) and policies within our company. This role will also ensure personal data is appropriately managed and protected, while acting as the key contact person to the National Privacy Commission (NPC) and other authorities as necessary. 
As Data Privacy Officer, You Will… 
Educate the company and employees on important compliance requirements 
Inform and cultivate awareness on privacy and data protection 
Conduct privacy impact assessments and address issues proactively 
Advise the company about complaints and/or persons who inquire of their rights 
Monitor data privacy performance and provide advice on the impact of data protection efforts 
Stay up-to-date on developments in data privacy and security
